Day 1

Depart school 9.00am. We travel straight to our camp in the forest between Byford and Jarrahdale, where we unpack, and settle in to our accommodation. We run through safety and evacuation procedures before a familiarization walk through the bush tracks to see where the activities are that will keep us busy for the next couple of days. After time out for lunch, we try our first activity – the Challenge Zone – designed to aid balance, co-ordination and team work as well as being great fun. Time permitting, we may have an environmentally friendly treasure hunt in the area surrounding the campsite. Overnight at hostel.

Day 2

A full action-packed day at camp! In the morning – the tunnel system: A network of underground pipes forming a maze of tunnels designed to experience caving in an environmentally friendly situation! (long sleeves, long pants & a torch required) The afternoon activity consists of a favourite – the Commando or confidence course (old clothes and old shoes needed). This course is an obstacle course of not inconsiderable length that winds through the bush. Overnight at hostel

* Optional activities available: Any of the above activities can be included / substituded – There are various ‘combos’ available – ask us today!

Over the course of the camp if we have spare time, we may be able to fit in other activities, i.e. orienteering ,damper making. Lunch is at camp and then cleaning and packing up.
