A full-on, busy alternative to a 4 or 5 day camp (ideal for short weeks) which incorporates many hands-on activities to keep students active!

Optional Activities available: See our additional activities page. There are heaps of exciting activities you can add or change!

The South West camps are usually based at the Busselton Baptist Camping Centre located on the calm shores of Geographe Bay.

Day 1

Departing school at 8.30am, we travel down to the South West of Western Australia. We usually call into Australind for a comfort stop before heading for Busselton. We head straight to camp to unpack, run through the rules / boundaries etc and settle in. After lunch we enjoy activities with the guys from RADROCK Climbing Wall who bring the climbing wall to our campsite. It’s loads of physical fun being harnessed and climbing the wall. Along with a couple of (sometimes tricky!)team-building initiative games organized by the RADROCK staff, the afternoon is full-on & busy!
Afterwards, time for showers & dinner!

Day 2

After breakfast this morning we head down to Ngilgi Cave at Yallingup to participate in their ‘Ancient Riverbed Adventure Tour’. Complete with hard-hat & a light , embark on a tour exploring another dimension of the cave along the ancient riverbed deep below Ngilgi Cave. Lead by fully experienced and friendly guides, see what it would have been like as one of the first explorers to the cave!, (check with us as maximum numbers are applicable for safety reasons). Returning to the surface, we have lunch then depending on the weather and season, either enjoy the thrill of sea kayaking and team games on the beach – great fun & educational in a very safe environment. – Conducted by fully qualified & very friendly staff, or otherwise you can spend a couple of hours at the Xcape Fun Park. Your entry* will include unlimited time on the trampolines, a game of laser tag; a game of (totally) ‘Wacky Putt Jokes’n’ Pranks’ – watch out! It’s not your average mini golf course!; entry permits to The Mine Shaft Maze and unlimited fun on the Jungle Mountain.
Return to camp for showers & dinner.

*In warmer months, the Waterplay area at Xcape can be added – No bronze required!

Day 3

Clean, pack up and depart camp this morning around 9.00am. On our journey home, we call into the famous Busselton Jetty – almost 2km long. We take a walk along the jetty to see locals catching fish and crabs. There are many historical and informative plaques etc along the jetty detailing its colourful history. Then its lunch at Australind before heading back to school arriving approx. 2.30pm.
